Duties and Responsibilities:Optometrists typically do the following: Perform vision tests and analyze results. Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness, and eye diseases, such as glaucoma. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids, and if state law permits, medications.

Education:Doctoral or professional degree projected to grow 17 percent from 2016 
Demand for this particular career:Employment of optometrists iso 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations. Because vision problems tend to occur more frequently later in life, an aging population will lead to demand for more optometrists.

Why? Why not?no i would'nt want to be a optometrist because i don't think i would be interested nor put up for optometrist

Thanksgiving Break Some things I did on my thanksgiving break was that I slept a lot, stayed up really late doing nothing, spent time with some of my friends. I also went to my aunts house and I spent time with my family and some cousins I haven’t seen in years and I finally got to see them. I think the break went by really fast we should’ve had it longer but I guess I had fun either way. One ctr thing I did was when I went to the theater with some friends and a lady dropped $100 and I picked it up and gave it to her it felt good doing the right thing.
